Biblical Resources

List of Biblical Resources

One of the most important aspects to effective Bible Study is knowing what tools you can trust as you seek to comprehend the particular passage into which you are delving.  Whether it is comprehending the historical and grammatical context of a particular text, the theological underpinnings of a passage, or just needing a synopsis of a biblical paragraph which you are examining, books can be an incredibly useful aid to the faithful study of the Scriptures.  Over my thirty years of Christian ministry, in which I have trained and equipped laymen to study the Bible for themselves, I have used certain resources to enable them to delve deeply in the Word of God.  The resources that follow have proved themselves useful and beneficial in this regard.  The list itself was composed by Pastor Patrick Perkins and myself for the purposes of equipping both the lay teachers and the elders of Berean Bible Baptist Church with the theological and the hermeneutical skills necessary to communicate to the body of Christ the sound words of Scripture.  It is a work in progress, so continue to check back regular for ongoing updates.  All these books can at least be found on Amazon.
